The story follows a young woman battling a drug addiction who suddenly begins to see a mutated mouse human hybrid who infests her life. Those around her begin to drop like flies.
Mr. Lockwood arrives at the remote and storm-battered Wuthering Heights, unaware that Catherine's vengeful ghost walks its halls. Her obsessed lover, Heathcliff, feeds her bloodlust with human sacrifice, hoping to give her soul a new body to inhabit. As Lockwood grows sick and delusional, he is drawn deeper into their deadly, undying love, and must escape before he becomes their next victim.
Over the course of one night in modern Britain, the lives of two working-class families — one white, one Muslim — become fatally intertwined amid rising social tension, forcing each person to confront the fear, anger and humanity within those around them.
A young man, born and raised in the vastness of the galaxy, lands on an unknown planet. As he surveys the landscape, he recognises fragments from ancient stories. Driven by a quiet urgency, he contacts his ship’s command to retrieve archival recordings of the last humans to abandon earth. Slowly, it dawns on him that he has returned to his ancestral home.
