Dhuusar chronicles three distinct phases of Shiladitya's life as he finds himself in the whirlwind of unfavourable situations and his obsession to escape from them. A mother, a jailer, a lover and his relationship with them as he journeys to search for the perfect liberation.

When a young girl’s mother goes off to the Middle East for migration work and disappears she is confronted with unendurable circumstances of eviction, overdue tuition and a grocer’s ultimatum which forces her to become a house maid.
