Svetlana is a tough and dedicated transplant doctor who graduated from medical school with a master's degree. However, during her residency in St. Petersburg, Svetlana, defending her principles, caused a scandal in the hospital, after which she was assigned to the remote provincial city of Zapolyarsk in the Far North, where there is an acute shortage of doctors.
The director of the Tula Youth Theater arranges a truly fiery premiere... and ends up in prison for setting fire to the theater. The only way to get out early is to stage "Romeo and Juliet" by assembling a troupe of prisoners and guards. The irreconcilable enmity between the two clans turns the rehearsals into absurd skirmishes, and the stage into a battlefield. In addition, Shakespeare gives a chance for freedom not only to the director, but also to the new actors who are secretly planning an escape.

A typical wedding morning. The groom wakes from a restless sleep, looks around, and calms down. The bride wakes with him, and they chat and kiss. The groom admires his bride, strokes her shoulder, and suddenly realizes that his right hand has frozen in an inappropriate gesture. He hides this from his bride so as not to upset her, and tries to resolve it during the wedding day, discreetly, without his beloved's knowledge. But no matter what he does, nothing helps until he runs to the park, where he accidentally knocks coffee out of the hand of a passerby. In desperation, he's ready to tell her his shameful secret, and lo and behold! Her hand unclenches. He joyfully rushes to the registry office. In the wedding hall, everything goes according to plan until the moment arrives to say "I do!" and the hand treacherously clenches again.
