Police Captain Vitaly Tumansky is obsessed with personal revenge. During the assassination attempt, his wife accidentally dies, and now he intends to find the culprits at any cost. To keep his place in the police, Tumansky has to deal with current affairs. To help the captain, the leadership appoints a pretty girl, senior lieutenant Suvorov, and a district policeman who recently arrived in Moscow from the North. They are completely different in nature, but they have to learn how to work together to solve crimes and help Captain Tumansky in his personal investigation.
