Cristina spent the last thirty years of her life in France, where she arrived as a political refugee. She decided to take the route from Paris to Grenoble to attend a barbecue, a ritual organized by Latin American exiles since 1976 to thank the French people for their hospitality. Alicia, Jaime, Juan Carlos, and Jorge, some of those who shared her early years of exile, are waiting for her there. Together they will retrace the path that unites the past and present of a generation marked by pain.

In a rural town in Argentina, Ramiro Lezcano, a charismatic music teacher, discovers a disturbing reality affecting the region: airplanes and ground fertilizing machines spray near rural schools, endangering the health of his students. Determined to take action, Ramiro joins his students to write songs that denounce this silent tragedy and raise awareness.

Antonio is a sculptor who continues to work but has stopped exhibiting. His wife is worried that he spends too much time alone in his workshop. One day, she receives a phone call from a friend to invite them to the opening of an exhibition. This motivates Antonio to return to exhibiting. But he is depressed to discover that most gallery directors find his work old-fashioned. His family gets involved behind the scenes.
