"Wlad Izza" is a comedy series featuring the adventures of Izza, a strong and independent widow who, since the death of her husband, has devoted herself exclusively to raising her son Ali. Mother and son share quiet days in the countryside... But not for long! And for good reason, her other son, Mourad, and his wife arrive from France, with the intention of settling in the village.
The film follows Nassrallah and Kheira, a young married couple who quickly realize that they are incompatible and decide to divorce. However, their families oppose the separation, and things become even more complicated when a judge refuses to grant an immediate divorce. Instead, the judge orders the couple to continue living together for one month in an attempt to save their marriage. Forced to share the same home despite their conflicts, they go through a series of humorous and unexpected situations that gradually make them reconsider their relationship.
The film revolves around (My Friend) a young man in his thirties who works as a technician repairing televisions and satellite dishes. He lives in a modest neighborhood with his mother, who suffers from hearing loss, and seeks to travel to the United States by emotionally exploiting an American girl.
Karima is a young Moroccan woman who runs away from her father's home after he forces her to marry a man she doesn't want. When she arrives in the city looking for somewhere to live, she discovers that the available accommodation is shared with a man. Unable to rent the place as a woman, Karima comes up with an unusual solution: she disguises herself as a man so she can get the room. What begins as a desperate attempt to gain independence gradually turns into a series of comedic and romantic complications as she tries to maintain her disguise while dealing with her new living situation and her father's attempts to find her.
