In THE RACE, five creators compete against each other in a race. They have no money, no smartphone and are limited to the bare necessities for sleeping. The participants only find out exactly where they are going at the start. What doesn't change: Whoever makes it to the finish line first has won THE RACE!
At the centre of the game show are 13 candidates who try to play a dangerous game of truth and lies with the aim of exposing the hidden werewolves before they themselves are eliminated from the game. This is because three of the participants belong to the secret ‘werewolf’ trio, who are doing everything they can to remain unrecognised and strategically eliminate the other candidates. Who is lying? Who can trust whom? Who will be the next to go?
The series follows eight German celebrities who leave their glamorous lifestyles behind to spend ten days deep in the Brazilian rainforest. There, they live with the Shanenawa, an indigenous tribe that continues to coexist in complete harmony with nature.
