Directing
The discovery of an audiovisual archive brings to light traces of a marine biologist who mysteriously vanished in the Po Delta. Through footage, photographs, documents, and an encounter with a peculiar local girl, the research she was conducting on the blue crab comes to light—a scientific investigation that gradually transforms into a reflection on change, adaptation, and the fragile boundary between the human and the animal. What if her disappearance was the result of the very research she had undertaken?
In the midst of a torrid summer, in which climate change appears once again in all its unstoppable power, the protagonist, a young French woman, calls her mother, telling her in an agitated manner that she feels crushed by the city atmosphere and that she is about to leave for a trip.
