Tim, a struggling, irresponsible drug peddler drifting through the desolate streets of California's Central Valley, is thrust into caring for his bright young nephew after a family tragedy, forcing him to confront his demons and fight for a better future for his nephew.

What begins as an awakening quickly spirals into a battle of wills, as Giovanni is forced to choose between the safety of silence and the risk of living and loving openly. With every choice comes the threat of losing the most important parts of himself.
