Biography
Sina Khani (aka Sina Ahmadkhani), born in Tehran, Iran, is a filmmaker whose passion for storytelling and film blossomed during his studies at Sharif University of Technology. He made his directorial debut with a feature film set in Mazandaran, showcasing his stylized cinematography. His debut film's themes delved into an existential discussion on loss and human folly, and premiered at the NYC Independent Film Festival. Khani pursued a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, USA.

The filmmaker attempts to show his thoughts on life in Iran and the United States, grappling with the burden of sorrow and responsibility about the collective anguish that affected Iranians.
