The events of the work take place in a historical social drama framework in the thirties of the last century, presenting the issue of a conflict between two families living in the Gafsa Valley in southern Tunisia and disputing over an inheritance.

Within the walls of his silent studio, a talented painter faces the bitterness of repeated failures and neglect. As his art and ambitions fade under life’s harsh demands, he embarks on a human journey seeking light amid the darkness of despair.
