An idealistic young woman travels to the jungles of Indonesia to teach literacy -- and much more -- to local children.

The film weaves together a series of stories about the aftermath of a political turmoil taking place in the year 2065 that led to an internment camp on Mars, discussed by the survivors and their children’s generation a hundred years later in 2165. The stories are adapted from the artists’ and actors’ own personal experience and memoirs of the mass killings of 1965-66.

A male political prisoner, after years of imprisonment, finally gets the chance to testify about the tragedy he experienced. It is a golden opportunity to seek a measure of justice for himself—an act of redemption to stay sane in living his life. Whether the opportunity is real or merely a dream does not matter.
