Biography
A graduate in communications, Élise directed her first short documentary film, Beijing-Hochelag, in 2016, which highlights the reality of Chinese convenience store owners. She subsequently directed the web series Un été à la chapelle (La Fabrique Culturelle), the short documentary Capitaines (Tabloïd), the medium-length documentary Après nous (Unis TV) and the podcast documentary Au pays des cratères (La Fabrique Culturelle, Transistor). Through her sensitive and human approach, Élise likes to address social and current issues through the journey of touching protagonists. Social justice, the status of women and the environment are particularly close to her heart. With gentleness and curiosity, she wants to meet others with all respect. In 2025, the documentary Libres de choisir, which gives unprecedented access to the reality of workers who protect the right to abortion, was broadcast on Radio-Canada. She directed it with Julie Boisvert.
