Zaza Koberidze

Kalenike, a peasant from Lechkhumi who has come to Kutaisi to sell walnuts, ends up at a wrestling show, where he tries his hand at the arena. He discovers an extraordinary talent for boxing. His coach and patron Baadur Kherkheulidze signs a contract with a foreigner and travels with Kalenike to Paris , where adventures await them.

The hero of the film is seriously injured while descending a high mountain on homemade skis, but the wounds heal, the pain subsides, and the sublime moment of overcoming fear and triumphing over oneself remains in the memory.
