Biography
Gustavo Vegas Aguinaga (Perú, 2000) approached cinema during college and also at home watching western movies with his father. He writes as a film critic for the magazine "Ventana Indiscreta" from Universidad de Lima, and has been a Jury member for film festivals and and the Latin American Critics Awards for European Films organized by the European Film Promotion. Vegas sometimes plays acting roles in short films and projects directed by his friends. "Felipe Rey" (2025), his first short film, was selected in various peruvian film festivals and won the February 2026 edition of Shortcutz Lima. Currently, he is working on a new short film titled "Una palabra tuya bastará".
