Shiyu(Shino) Tang is an award-winning independent animation director originally from China. She earned her MFA degree from CalArts Experimental Animation Program. With a strong focus on social phenomena and female perspectives, Shiyu's work delves into the intricacies of our emotions and human relationships. Her films have been showcased internationally at festivals including Annecy, POFF, and Animafest Zagreb.
