Biography
Zachary Cutter is a filmmaker, writer, and actor currently studying film at New York University. His work centers on character-driven stories and complicated human relationships, often exploring themes of identity, isolation, memory, and emotional vulnerability. Since arriving at NYU, he has directed three short films: two intimate relationship-focused narratives and one surrealist piece inspired by personal experiences. His previous work includes The Screen, recipient of a Silver Medal from the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers, and One Day, which screened at the Patrick Lives On Film Festival. In addition to his narrative work, he directed two documentaries addressing racial issues within his high school community; both films were later shown to the school board to help encourage structural change within the district.
