One night, after a disastrous traffic accident, witnesses reported seeing a woman behind the wheel who fled the scene. In reality, it was four teenagers who stole a Peugeot 404 for a spin. Later, one of them got out and began hitchhiking, while the others were involved in a fatal accident after being chased by the police shortly afterward. The police continue their intensive search for the fourth teenager.

Mane Karakas comes to a small coastal town to dig a hole for watering system. He tries to brighten up the town's sleepy atmosphere. The local journalist who misunderstood Karakas writes an article about new popular melody festival in town. Shortly after World War II, the government sent a crew of drivers with large tractors to clear-cut and plow a vast, barren piece of land called "Krst Rakoc" in the hills of Kosovo and Metohia, for future orchards. They encounter deprecation and revolt from indigenous Albanian population who do not believe in good intentions of the government and the crew.
