During the conquest period, an Inca Princess escapes from Spanish rule along with part of her people, venturing into the Tamarugo Forests. There, she establishes a settlement where for many years every captured foreigner is mercilessly massacred, until they capture Vasco de Almeida, a Portuguese miner with whom the Ñusta, better known as La Tirana, finds love and above all, faith in God.
In 1973, during the dictatorship in Chile, a group of prisoners are forced to march to be shot and buried in a clandestine grave. It took 17 years until they were unearthed in 1990. To this day, there are still relatives who have not yet found their loved ones. The search continues...
