In this pre-WWII German mystery-comedy, a lovely kleptomaniac with a taste for fine jewelry is unable to resist temptation. Strangely, every time she steals something, a mysterious man pays for it. A clumsy detective begins investigating and finds a crucial clue: a strongly scented woman's glove. The perfume is an expensive scent and the detective's pal realizes that it belongs to a popular nightclub singer. The friend quickly becomes enamored of the girl, but then so does her mystery man, a notorious international criminal. Eventually he gets arrested, leaving the detective's pal to move in on the singer.
What Women Dream

The young opera singer Carla is in love with the talented young composer Michele, who wants to make it big with classical music and writes his first opera, "The Return of Odysseus," for Carla. But Carla is more successful than he is and gets a gig at La Scala in Milan. Through her connections, she manages to find a publisher for Michele's opera. But when Michele learns what the publisher really thinks of his work, he leaves and abandons Carla. A year later, Carla finds Michele again. He has since become a sought-after composer, but is embittered because he is only successful with pop songs. His new revue "Dream Music," a reworking of his opera, is about to premiere. Carla then arranges for Michele's original opera to premiere in Budapest with her in the lead role.

A foreman’s son and his noble friend, who have voluntarily arrived from Berlin to help out with the harvest, switch their billeting coupons while on the journey, so as to play a trick on the estate owner, who is related to one of them. The wrong boy is asked to sit at the estate owner’s table, while the real relative is pushed off on the servants. And so begins a game of confusion with amusing results.

Opera Ball
Womanizer Conny and his less successful brother Fred make a lucrative real estate deal on the Côte d′Azur and receive a cheque for 100,000 francs as a down payment. On the train back to Paris, Conny meets the attractive Vera and stays in Monte Carlo for the time being because of her. But Vera and her companion Baroff, a swindler posing as a baron, are on the prowl, and Conny loses the check to Baroff in a game against the supposed baron. When he realizes that he has been tricked, he rushes after the train on which Vera and Baroff are fleeing and has a serious accident. When Vera finds out, she reproaches herself. She meets Conny's brother Fred at the station and falls in love with him. Vera then decides to spend her future with Fred and fundamentally change her life.
