Fernandinho was a well-known man in a small town in Goiás, where he had many enemies. At his wake, his daughter Laura tries to unravel the cause of his death by meeting local residents, who harbored a certain hatred for her father. What Laura didn't expect was that the path to the truth would come at a price: reliving her past.

Young Dandara arrives home from school and locks herself in her room. The only Black student at her school, she is a victim of racism and questions her identity. But her mother will convince her that within her she carries the beauty and strength of many Black women.

Adriana, tired of the heat and distressed, receives a call from her ex-girlfriend, Maria, who wants to spend the day with her. Adriana accepts and welcomes her now-friend. As the day progresses, Maria and Adriana's relationship goes through ups and downs, until night falls, when crucial decisions will be made.
