Biography
Adam Austin Smith is an American filmmaker from the “Bootheel” of Missouri. He writes and directs narrative films that blend southern goth with sharp satire. A first-generation graduate of Southeast Missouri State University and founder of “Wishing Whales,” he now lives in Milwaukee. While he works primarily in commercial production, Smith is building his narrative career as part of Wisconsin’s underrated filmmaking scene.
