Biography
Perrone Ford is an American cinematographer/Gaffer who has worked on numerous shorts and several features. He was born in Englewood, NJ and currently resides in Tallahassee, FL. He notes Roger Deakins, Bradford Young, Seamus McGarvey, Lawrence Sher, and Julian White as his primary influences. Ford's first work was as a camera operator in the mid 180s in NJ working on small productions for his church. After college he began working on numerous short films in the Tallahassee area. In recent years he has worked on numerous dance and ballet films, sci-fi shorts and features, personal and corporate interviews, and other work. He is also an accomplished professional photographer (now retired) counting clients such as Florida State University Athletics, Tallahassee Ballet, Pas de Vie Ballet, among others.
