When the mathematics teacher discovers a love letter from his daughter, family father Felix Schneider is suspected of having a secret lover.
Leopold, head waiter at the "Weißen Rössl" (White Horse Inn), is secretly in love with the owner of the restaurant, Josepha. But she's only interested in the lawyer Dr. Siedler. Jealous, Leopold comes up with a plan to gain Josepha's attention.
Agostino announces an incredible invention: a device that allows one to jump into any TV show. He's promptly declared insane and ends up in an institution. Giorgio, however, who is convinced by Agostino's abilities, rescues him, and the two begin to use the invention as a marketing strategy: The cake, which comes from Giorgio's aunts' oven and hasn't sold well up to this point, is now being advertised across television.

Matthias Scheichelroither is a poor but always cheerful, or rather, jolly farmer.
