Biography
Aaron Castro is a writer-director based in Parañaque, Philippines. He has written and directed several short films such as Something in the Sky (2022), four minutes (2022), neverending nothing (2022), and He Inhaled The Air Out of My Lungs (2023). His thesis film, the deaths of vegetables have no colors (2025), was an official grantee of FDCP's SFAP 2024, and was awarded Best Director and Best Screenplay during the Likha 2025: Capstone Short Film Defense. Growing up, he made countless stories and games for friends and classmates. With a knack for chaos and shattered conventions, his filmmaking continues to deliver experiences that can evolve to inspire, challenge, or transform.
