Once upon a time, in Los Angeles, California, two girls found a magical chair outside their front door. These girls saw endless beauty in the simplicity of the chair; within it's fabric, they saw themselves.

Founded in 2014 by Katelyn Douglass and Kelly Lamanna, Your Uncle Richard is a long-distance arts collaboration that connects an ever-growing family of strangers. Structured like a game of telephone, each cycle begins with one artist who creates a prompt and passes it on to the next participant.
