Life is a game of survival, when you're surrounded by nothing but wrong, but still trying to do what's right. Niko and her friends grow up on the South side of Chicago, dealing with the many challenges of today's urban society. She faces a life changing experience that pushes her to the streets. And when the streets call, sometimes it's hard not to answer.

When Monet's family convinces her to bring her new boyfriend home for Christmas, she panics. Unaware that her new love interest is a woman, everything could go wrong. Eager to spend the holidays with her family, Monet's girlfriend Denae, disguise's herself as a man, in hopes of gaining the family's acceptance. That is until what seemed to be the perfect plan backfires.
