Biography
Communication graduate with a specialization in Film Production and Direction from Tec de Monterrey - Puebla, she is a photographer, actress, director, and independent film producer. Since 2018, she has been involved in various audiovisual projects in Puebla, Mexico, and Buenos Aires. Notable among these are "Para quienes más quieres" (commercial, 2023), where she served as director for the Instituto Municipal de Planeación (IMPLAN), and “Hacia Casa” [Homeward] (short film, 2023), which was selected for the “Dulcísimo Ovario” (2024) and “No Somos de Cristal” (2024) film festivals. She is a co-founder of the artivist collective "Femin(are)" and is part of the curatorial team for the exhibition “Trazos que arden, más allá del 8M.” Currently, she is involved in various productions in the country and collaborates with Rolling Stone en Español.
Known For

A woman wants to return home after experiencing violence. She walks through the fields of Mexico and suddenly finds objects she left behind. Before she can get home, a missing person's search group finds the same objects she once used. The search party, hopeful, looks to see if there are any more traces or a person, but no one is there.
Homeward

Emilia experiences her childhood through her senses. Until now, her body has been a vehicle for pleasure and curiosity. With the onset of puberty, she grows her first facial hair, and with it come concerns about her appearance. Suddenly, her body is filled with nothing but pain and shame.
