By agreement, he is to hide until the price of the copper he invested in rises again. Polly hires detective Bobby Dodd and follows the apparent bank robber to Portugal, Brazil, the Wild West and Hawaii. There, Peter Voss is able to convince the rich Polly of his good intentions - and when the bank is saved, there is even a wedding.
