Tuhing is the Kutai people’s belief about the consequences of violating certain ethics. Imus (24) chooses to sleep without cleaning himself or his room. He begins having nightmares about his neighbourhood, which will be affected by constructing the country’s new capital. Eventually, he wakes up, realising he has fallen under Tuhing. Now aware, he starts to clean himself and tidy his room. But tragically, the impact of Tuhing claims his life right there in his room.
