The girl runs away - straight into the arms of Hokus and Iancu, who kidnap her and take her to a remote Roma village. Charlie Chaplin is still one of the most famous figures in film history, both in front of and behind the camera. However, one aspect of Chaplin's artistic work is little known: his work as a film composer. Dominik Wessely shows this side of the brilliant all-round talent in original visual and audio documents.

In 2010, during the Love Parade in Duisburg, following a crowd movement, the participants found themselves stuck in a tunnel, soon trampled and suffocated. Results: 21 dead and more than 600 injured. Spotlight on the extraordinary trial which followed this tragedy.

The ‘OstWest TV’ team broadcasts from exile in Berlin for a Russian-speaking audience. It is one of the last independent voices in Russian; its programmes and reports analyse Kremlin propaganda. More than 1,000 kilometres away, the journalists of the Ukrainian investigative editorial team ‘Schemesa’ of ‘Radio Free Europe’ have been reporting on the war in their homeland for almost three years - a war they are experiencing themselves day by day. The film team accompanies reporters from both newsrooms between rocket fire and the Munich Security Conference, while researching war crimes, the death of Alexei Navalny and analysing war propaganda. ‘With facts against Putin's propaganda’ shows how important fact-based journalism is.
