Biography
Evzen Freders A. Conejero (b. 2003) is a filmmaker based in Davao City and is part of Six Feet Under Productions. He creates narratives that rely on visual storytelling, movement, and atmosphere instead of dialogue, allowing viewers to find their own meaning. He is drawn to themes such as the plight of the Filipino spirit, identity, and survival, and he approaches them through artistic forms. Having grown up in Javier, Eastern Leyte, working in Mindanao has shaped how he views space, silence, and the body as parts of narrative. His films have been screened in various regional film festivals such as SineDisipulo Film Festival in Visayas, Mindanao Film Festival, Ngilngig Asian Fantastic Film Festival, Palm City Film Festival in Mindanao, among others.
