Emy-Mirel Ivasca was born on 6 August 1994 in Botosani, Romania. He graduated from Hyperion University, Bucharest, with "Imi Cunosc Potentialul" as his thesis film. He is a director and writer, known for Zidane Roulette (2023), Imi Cunosc Potentialul (2021) and Sunt Extraterestru (2020).
