Biography
Gala del Sol is a Spanish-Colombian director, screenwriter and creative consultant for narrative projects born in 1996, whose stories revolve around fantastic realism and have a punk aesthetic with a tropical twist. She was a finalist for the Student Academy Awards with her short film Pasajeros en trance, her thesis from Chapman University, making her the second Colombian to be nominated in the history of the Student Academy Awards. Rains Over Babel (2025) is her debut feature film.
