Biography
Ali Plumb is a British film critic, journalist and broadcaster. Since 2016, he has served as the film critic for BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 1Xtra, where he reviews new releases and interviews actors and filmmakers. He began his career in student journalism and later trained in magazine journalism before moving into professional film reporting. Plumb previously worked for Empire and was Movies Editor at Digital Spy. He also presents the BBC interview series Movies with Ali Plumb, featuring conversations with prominent figures from the film industry. Plumb has publicly expressed particular enthusiasm for the Paddington films and has mentioned that he owns several plush toys of the character.
