Munawaroh, a village midwife, secretly cares for Mira, a former prostitute shunned by the community. As Mira’s pregnancy progresses, she becomes increasingly anxious about her safety. One evening, Mira collapses at a women-only village gathering, where Munawaroh pretends not to know her to protect her standing among the conservative women. However, when the situation becomes life-threatening, Munawaroh faces a moral dilemma: help Mira deliver her baby in front of the villagers or preserve her reputation.
