Biography
A Jordanian television director and producer, who obtained a master’s degree in arts from Columbia University in 1970. He made his directorial debut in the series The Hard Decision, in which he collaborated with Gamel Awwad and Rabee Shehab. He then presented many series, mainly historical, such as The Road to Kabul, which was banned after the airing of the first nine episodes in 2004. His other works include The Volcano (1989), Khalid ibn al-Walid S1 (2006), and Al-Fawars (1999).
Known For

The life and exploits of al-Zahir Baibars, Sultan of Egypt and the Levant, his journey from being a slave to Prince Ala’ al-Din al-Bunduqari, until he became sultan, and the many important events he was involved in, like the fall of Baghdad at the hands of Mongol commander Hulagu Khan, and the battle of Ain Jalut.
Al Zahir Baybars

The series focuses on the social, economic, and religious life of Arab and Jewish people during the time of Muhammad. It details a perceived notion of the Jewish community's characteristics and their perceived hostility towards other groups. The series concentrates on the battle along Islamic and Jewish business interests in and around the Arabian Peninsula and against an alliance of Polytheists and the Muslim Front Business Interests, which ended with a victory by the Muslim business interests.
