A young man reconnects with his deceased mother through their mutual love for plain black coffee.

On her way home from work, Keen encounters a mysterious woman from “somewhere far away” in the midnight bus, who reveals to her that she is on a one-day trip to visit her family who she has not seen for a long time. As Keen finds out more about the mysterious woman in the bus, she reflects on familial values and the meaning of separation.

In the very end, once a soul has been cleansed of its past, it will take one last journey to the deepest of the abyss for a new beginning. To fulfil her filial piety, a young woman accompanies her mother on the journey to the end of her being. Under the setting moon, they reminisce about the past.
