Ever Love Hope

A short film set in 1918, THE OPEN DOOR tells the story of Framton Nuttel who is sent to the countryside by his physicians in order to calm his nerves. It is there he meets a young girl, Mae, who begins to share the eerie secrets of this small town.

An anxiety-ridden only child returns home at Christmas to proudly announce her engagement, only to be slapped in the face with news of her parent's divorce at the dinner table, shattering her perspective on love and loyalty.
