An honest police officer investigates an organ trafficking racket. He soon discovers that it is operated by Daddy, a criminal, under the guise of an orphanage.

Kumar, a graduate who is fed up with injustice, decides to commit suicide by jumping off a train. However, he is arrested for it and he narrates his story in court.

Amarnath is a 1978 Indian Kannada film, directed by K. Mani Murugan and produced by N. K. Narayan, V. K. Ramesh and P. B. Walke. The film stars Ambareesh, Sundar Krishna Urs, Dheerendra Gopal and K. S. Ashwath in lead roles. The film had musical score by Vijaya Bhaskar.
