Originally from Homestead, he began his filmmaking journey in 2025, drawing inspiration from Nicolas Winding Refn’s Drive (2011), which sparked his passion for atmospheric storytelling. Calderon is known for crafting mystery-driven thrillers, often blending tension with emotional depth. His debut feature, The Bagman (2025), introduced his distinctive voice, followed by The Tenth Minute (2025), a tightly-wound psychological thriller that further established his style and vision. Calderon produces all his own films and continues to build a reputation for grounded, suspenseful narratives told through a cinematic lens.
