It is the 15th of August, and just like every year, young Paul, his family, and their friends have a big picnic on Callot Island. But this year, the usual tranquil atmosphere is shattered, when the picnicers suddenly find themselves trapped on the island by the high tide. Upset, and caught between childhood and adulthood, Paul becomes aware of his individuality as he drowns in his imagination.
As Charly, a young trans man, is laid to rest under his birth name, Tom, Louise and BB, his queer pals, decide to pay their last respects in his own image in the place where they used to meet: Charly’s childhood home. But Victor, his brother, and his wife Iris turn up unexpectedly…
