This once-secret film for specialists tells the story of the first expedition to the Mir orbital space station and its commissioning. This same crew, consisting of L. Kizim and V. Solovyov, flew aboard the Soyuz T-15 spacecraft to the old Salyut 7 orbital station and prepared it for its ascent to a higher orbit.
The film tells about the life and work of the outstanding figure of Russian cinema Esfir Ilyinichna Shub.
