The Battle of Bamber Bridge is the name given to an outbreak of racial violence involving American soldiers stationed in the village of Bamber Bridge, Lancashire, in Northern England during the Second World War.

Synopsis: In the 1950s North Georgia mountains, Vera confesses her love to a traveling farmhand on the night he must leave town.

On an average trip to town, a schoolmistress in 1910's Georgia confronts the societal expectations of her life which she becomes desperate to escape.
