On the day of a solar eclipse, Ramiro accompanies the parents of his best friend to their house outside the city. During the visit, the son’s absence, while on exchange abroad, becomes evident and places him in an uneasy position.
During a documentary residency in the Sierra Maestra, Cuba, a filmmaker befriends Sara, a seven-year-old girl who moves between San Pablo de Yao and La Nave. Together, they play and explore a world where Sara is simply a child; within this everyday intimacy, traces of the island’s crisis quietly emerge. The filmmaker transforms this bond into a letter to Sara—a return to those shared days, and a way to think of her from afar after they part.
