Within a social dramatic framework, the events deal with the story of the widowed grandmother Zuzu, who worked in agriculture and had two sons and two daughters. We follow her relationship with her grandchildren, and her dealings with them and the problems they face.

A wealthy man lives a lavish lifestyle of travel and multiple marriages, but his stability crumbles in the face of a financial crisis that threatens his fortune and future. Amidst this collapse, he finds himself trapped in a whirlwind of humorous situations and problems stemming from his tangled relationships with relatives, neighbors, and family, who oscillate between coveting his wealth and gloating over his downfall.
