When control-obsessed Oliver’s perfectionist tendencies begin to stunt his filmmaking progress and his relationships, an odd rivalry forms between him and his filmmaking partner, Alaina. But they soon realize going their separate ways might not be the easiest way to the top.

After accumulating various physical ailments out of the blue, our paranoid main character, Clove, declares it is a dark entity at fault. With little knowledge of what to do in this situation, they convince their reluctant but loyal roommate, Tripp, to help find a way to get rid of the possible threat.

When an obsession with control finally consumes every part of their life, a questionable late night snack brings on a spiral of delirium that may also become their liberation.

After doing better, our main character finds himself with writer's block sending him down a ruinous path toward madness.
