Mageed Tubia

The mayor of an Upper Egyptian village has monopoly over beans which harms the simple villagers while getting high profits for the mayor. As one of the villagers stands up to the mayor and rallies the people, they decide to gather money to monopolize beans themselves.

As the war of attrition with Israel reaches its peak, and while Magdy is waging his war on the front, his journalist fiancée is waging a brutal war against the utilitarian editor-in-chief, whose true identity she later discovers.

Reem's mother dies after being in a heavy accident, so her daughter puts the suffering that happened to her before her eyes, as their mother suffered because of her married husband, and the inferiority view of women in Upper Egypt.
