Biography
Ali Isa Jabbarov (Ali Khakidani) was born in Baku. He studied at the Faculty of Cinema and Television Film Directing of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts (1996). He worked at “Azerbaijantelefilm” since 1994. In 2005, together with Aynur Mustafayeva, he founded the Darvish Producer Center, together with Asif Rustamov and Fehruz Shamiyev, the Azerbaijan Young Film Producers Association (AGFIA). Since 2005, he has been the director of the Darvish Producer Center, the chairman of the Azerbaijan Young Film Producers Association, the publisher of the analytical film magazine “Focus” since 2008, and the head of the “Focus” Creative Youth Cinema House project. He worked as a producer in Butafilm film company. He is one of the founders of the Association of Independent Cinematographers of the South Caucasus. Since 2009, he has been the secretary of the Union of Cinematographers of Azerbaijan.
