In a 1990s Himalayan town, teacher Barkha, whose husband serves at the border, develops feelings for enigmatic newcomer Manik amid a community of waiting women where silence and local myths prevail.

Two women live in a decaying ancestral house that mirrors their emotional stagnation. Grappling with trauma, both find different ways to cope and escape from the pain, until they stumble upon something that might change their lives forever.
